02/27/2005 - tystreamer v1.1 released - the "Gosh, that's a lot of pre-requisites!" edition!
tystreamer v1.1 is a feature enhancement and bug-fix release. New features include:
- uses ffmpeg in conjunction with mencoder for mpeg4 streams that actually stream (thanks to Nugget for initially suggesting this method)
- streams in MPEG, ASF and ASX format
- fixed a lot of error messages relating to "missing indexes"
- turned off error reporting during streaming that could potentially corrupt the video stream. DOES NOT affect logging
- each streaming mode is now individually configurable at the command-line level, allowing different types of streams to be created
- kills the process if the client window is closed (thanks to Nugget for initial implementation)
- program listings are now correctly sorted by date, newest to oldest
- supports bash shell encapsulation (but not required)
